This was the message I gave at the very first Erev Shabbat Service celebrated by Beit Midrash in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As I was studying our readings for this week, I was struck by the similarity of what the Bnai Israel – The Children of Israel – were going through back then at Mt. Sinai and what we are going through here, today. |
