The Torah is comprised of the first five books of both the Bible [Bereshit or Genesis, Shemot or Exodus, VaYikra or Leviticus, Bamidbar or Numbers and Devaim or Deuteronomy]. Each year we read the Torah in its entirety by breaking it up into chunks called Parasha, below you will find the standard breakout of Torah Readings, the corresponding Haftarah Reading (which is a complimentary reading from the Prophets and sometimes the Writings) and a complemetary reading from the Gospels and Epistles. In years not containing leap months, some of the portions may be combined to allow us to maintain our yearly schedule. The Parasha for the week will always be listed at the top of our site, and information about any special or combined readings can by found by clicking on the "Dig Deeper" link, also at the top of the site.
Note: The Haftarah readings in parenthesis are the Askenazi readings where they differ from the Sephardic reading, and the Torah Reading chapter and verse notations in parenthisis are where the numbering differs between the Jewish and other Bibles.
